I think it will take a few days for Blythe, Nancy and me to “let go” of the TLS 50th Anniversary. What a great success the entire weekend was for all those involved. For the past four years I have been involved with obtaining sponsors for the High Hope Steeplechase which is run at the Kentucky Horse Park, the second week in May. During which we have used Lundy’s to provide the tents, tables, chairs, linens and catering. Apart from delivering exactly what they say, they have gone beyond their contractual obligations time and time again, to help us make this event what is has now become.
Alissa Lundergan and her staff obviously know about putting event like this on. This is most evident in the more comfortable way that the rest of us can go about our particular committee’s. Knowing that Alissa’s team have done their part to perfection.
This year as President of High Hope, I am writing to let you know we are looking forward to continuing our ten year association with Lundy’s, a group that has contributed greatly to the success of the High Hope Steeplechase.

I would like to offer my comments about Lundy’s catering service, which has provided food and beverage service at Chicagoland Speedway for the past five years. Lundy’s has generated more than $100,000 in food and beverage taxes for the City of Joliet. This is an amazing figure, considering that the racetrack hosted less than ten 3-day events!
As Mayor of the City of Joliet, I have never heard any negative comments about Lundy’s. I know that Lundy’s has been a great corporate citizen, allowing several not-for-profit organizations to do fund raising for their groups by working the food and beverage concession stations at Chicagoland Speedway. These organizations have earned over $1 million while their volunteers worked at the racetrack over the past five years.
Lundy’s has a great relationship with personnel at Chicagoland Speedway, the Joliet Police and Fire Departments, City Hall and all the vendors. Lundy’s has definitely been an asset at Chicagoland Speedway, and it is a pleasure having your services provided in out community.

I am writing to relate our experiences with Lundy’s Special Events/Catering with respect to the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event organized by Equestrian Events at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Lundy’s Catering has provided food services for Equestrian Events since 1998. A number of different locations and types of food service are required for approximately 2,000 people daily over a four-day period.
Lundy’s has worked with Equestrian Events to bring the level of food service and efficiency to that required by the guests we serve while keeping cost increases reasonable.
Alissa Tibe is our point of contact for our agreements with Lundy’s and she is most professional, knowledgeable and willing to work with us to provide goods and services commensurate with the level of quality of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event.

Now that the inaugural festivities are over, I am writing to express the gratitude of President Clinton and of everyone on the 52nd Inaugural Committee for the superb catering services provided by Lundy’s Special Events.
Because this was the opening event of President Clinton's administration, it was extremely important to those of us involved to see that the operation ran smoothly. Those Americans watching the inaugural events on national television, and the half million people that personally attended, were all evaluating our performance.
Thanks to your company’s turnkey operation, we were left free to take care of the many other details involved with such a large event. Not having to concern ourselves with tentage, flooring, heating, and all the other components which you supplied was, in a word, wonderful. Not only did you do a superb job delivering the services for which you contracted, you went beyond our expectations by supplying ice sculptures and all the other decorations which created such an elegant and festive atmosphere. The many national celebrities in attendance certainly enjoyed the finest in catering hospitality.
It is always a pleasure to work alongside someone who has the professionalism and the competence to deliver quality service. Especially given the magnitude of the job which you undertook and the time imitations which the job imposed. Irrespective of whom you were entertaining, the guests at the Inaugural Gala Ball or the crowds outside of the Lincoln Memorial, I heard only compliments for the job you did.
You certainly played an integral part in the 52nd Presidential Inaugural, and helped us start the new administration on a high note. Best wishes in your undertakings and I look forward to working with you on future events.

Lundy’s Special Events staff goes above and beyond their duties as a caterer. They work with us on special circumstances to meet our needs. There have been many times that we request something just a little off the norm and they take extra measures to see that our needs are met.
The employees that they have staffing the events are all very knowledgeable and polite. It is very helpful to have this on site rather than just putting a person there just to have a body on place to meet their number criteria. All the staff knows what to do and who to go to if a need arises that require a supervisor. It is nice not having to worry about our catering while at an event. I know that if Lundy’s Special Events is in charge of the catering, our guests will be well taken care of.
From the menus, ordering, invoice, staffing, implementing, to the after event follow up, Lundy’s Special Events is the one I would choose. I encourage anyone to look especially hard at the work that is done and you will know Lundy’s is #1 in customer service.
